Description
Cacao Suchard, 1900–1910. A delicious slice of Swiss chocolate heritage, digitally restored to its early-twentieth-century best.
Founded by Philippe Suchard in 1825, the Swiss chocolatier became one of the most famous chocolate brands in the world, and its cocoa was a fixture of European kitchens by the turn of the century. This advertisement from the 1900s celebrates cacao at the height of the Belle Époque appetite for all things sweet and exotic.
Warm chocolate tones and confident period typography make this print a cosy, characterful addition to kitchens, pantries and café walls.
