Description
“Cacao Talmone” — Oschner, 1890–1924
Talmone, the great Turin biscuit and chocolate house, was one of the most prolific patrons of early Italian poster art — its adverts appeared on every wall of Belle Époque Italy. This design for its cacao carries the graphic charm of the era’s chocolate advertising: rich colour, elegant lettering and the promise of warmth in a cup.
From the same city that invented gianduja comes this delicious piece of Turin’s cocoa history — a wonderful antique for the kitchen, pantry or café wall.
