Alphonse Mucha’s sumptuous advertising poster for his own printer, Ferdinand Champenois — the Parisian publisher who produced nearly all of Mucha’s legendary Art Nouveau posters. A radiant woman amidst flowing hair, Byzantine ornament and flowering branches, it is a celebration of the partnership behind the most beautiful prints of the Belle Époque.

Champenois’ workshops printed Mucha’s most iconic designs, and this 1897 poster — essentially Mucha advertising his own art — is a masterpiece of Art Nouveau ornament, endlessly rewarding to live with.
