Description

“Davit Cioccolato Cacao — Panina Panina, Torino” — early 20th century

A second, rarer poster from Turin’s Davit chocolate house — with its “Panina Panina” refrain, a jingle of its day, woven into the design. Early twentieth-century Italian advertising delighted in wordplay and song, and this joyful poster captures that playful spirit alongside all the richness of the Turin cocoa tradition.

Chocolate posters from the golden age of Italian advertising are among the warmest and most decorative of all collectibles — a perfect gift for the kitchen, the café or the eternal sweet tooth.
