Vintage Bicycle Poster.

Vintage Raleigh Cycles poster advert. Historic advertising poster for The Raleigh Cycle Company Ltd., Nottingham, England.

This vintage art nouveau, retro, cycling poster encapsulates the charm of life in times gone by and features scene of a man and woman. The woman is in a black tutu and pointed clown’s hat and is cycling with two lanterns. The man with a Pierot clown outfit is holding a lute, or mandolin type stringed musical instrument. The illustration was originally by Tom Browne in 1897-98.

The poster has been carefully, digitally restored by an artist to refresh the colours and to remove any major signs of wear and tear, retaining the vintage character of the piece.
