Vintage Italian food and drink advertising poster. Aperol, an aperitif, or aperitivo / digestivo famous in Italy, the illustration was originally by Carlo Pandolfi Detto Piquillo in 1931.

This art-deco, vintage, retro Italian food poster encapsulates the glamour of times gone by and features a man in top hat and tails, drinking an Aperol drink at a bar, with the bar man chatting to him. There is a chequered floor and you can see an Italian piazza outside with other art-deco buildings.

The poster would make a great dining room, restaurant, bar or café poster and would also look good as a dining room, kitchen print.

The poster has been carefully digitally restored by an artist remove any major signs of wear and tear and to refresh the original colours, retaining the vintage character of the poster.
