This luminous Impressionist masterpiece captures two young sisters, Francisca and Angelina Wartenberg, performing their acrobatic act at the Cirque Fernando in Paris. Painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1879, the work radiates the artist’s signature warmth — the glow of the footlights, the shimmering sequined costumes and the bold compositional perspective seen from the audience.
